This year’s SCM Show at the D-Day Story Museum was our fifth event as the South Coast Modellers.

 

Once again, we put on a varied section of Models ranging from LegoTech models, Model Aircraft (across the eras), Napoleon Soldiers, Cars Tanks, Fairground vehicles and selection of Warships.  The museum will be celebrating D-Day 80th commemorations in 2024 to which we have been asked to once again put on a display of models that took part in the D-Day Landings. Also, to assisted with their Airfix Events in 2024.

 

As usual, it was always a pleasure to chat to ex members of the armed services who come along to the stand and who served on the actual ships we model, we often pick up tips from them for additional detailing etc. The day had a better attendance than what we have had in the last two Events. But again, a very enjoyable event.
