This is the first time we have been requested to put on a display at this museum. The event was a two day event, and a test event for us and the museum. As this was the first time for SCM it was agreed with the museum staff we would just do the one day.

Others displaying at this event were model railway clubs and a hovercraft club. South Coast modellers display was located on the Princess Anna Hovercraft car deck. The display covered plastic model tanks, Aircraft and military vehicles, along with a good section of warships.

We also had new members Adam and Jack Rose displaying for the first time. They were made very welcome by all.

 

The public attendance was steady on Saturday and we had a lot of the visitors asking about are models. We also received many positive comments on the quality and selection of models on display.The museum staff were great and very supportive, and have asked SCM back to display at next year event. They also requested they would love SCM to attend both days next year.
