Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show
22nd, 23rd & 24th July 2022

The Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Fair turned out to be the biggest display of the year and showed a full range of our models. The weather was perfect for the 3 days although some would say a little too perfect.

Seven members of the group had models on display including our newest and youngest member in the sweltering heatwave that was to persist for a long time. Situated in the model tent with Model traction engines and the local Meccano society the number of visitors was a constant stream for all of the 3 days.

We were visited by the Caledonian Pipers who played a superb rendition of the "Highland Cathedral" to the delight of the whole tent. We were well looked after by our designated area marshal who did a sterling job and to whom we are grateful.

Members displaying were Dave and Andrea Reith, Richard Reith, Leo Reith, Ken Winter, John Wills, Charles Davis and David Mcnair Taylor

One highlight of the show was a visit by the Caledonian Pipers who came into the Marquee and played a wonderful rendition of "Highland Cathedral".  Click on the video link to the left to watch and hear the performance.
